The RKP-8100 radio is designed to operate in the frequency range from 1.5 MHz to 512 MHz. It provides tactical voice communications and data transmission via standard protocols and interfaces (IP, SMTP, POP3, VoIP, Ethernet, RS-232). The radio is an SDR (Software Defined Radio) system. The RKP-8100 implements waveforms defined by NATO standards required for operation in the HF and VHF bands, as well as narrowband waveforms for operation in the UHF band. The radio design is optimized for waveform operation with EPM capability. The RKP-8100 can be used as a manpack radio (20 W HF and 10 W VHF/UHF) or as a component of mobile radiocommunication systems installed on wheeled and tracked platforms.
When configured as a vehicular radio, the RKP-8100 is equipped with an additional power amplifier and the RKS-8000SA-D antenna coupler. The primary amplifier in the vehicular version is the RKP-8100AM-B, providing 150 W HF and 50 W VHF/UHF output power. In addition, the system is fitted with tunable, narrowband filters enhancing communication reliability in high co-site interference environments. These filters cover the entire HF band as well as selected VHF/UHF ranges (30 MHz–88 MHz and 225 MHz–400 MHz) and can also operate in frequency hopping (EPM) mode.
In the HF band, the RKP-8100 radio can operate with 500 W (RKP-8100WM-D) and 1000 W (RKP-8100WM-H) power amplifiers, which are also equipped with narrowband filtering systems.
The product card contains key technical information and a functional description of the solution; available in both Polish and English versions.
