The SHL-101/TM is an advanced hull-mounted sonar station designed for the detection and classification of naval mines and other underwater objects, including seabed, floating, suspended, and moored targets. The system is intended for operation in demanding hydrological conditions, particularly in shallow waters with significant acoustic background and high interference levels, ensuring reliable performance at vessel speeds of up to six knots.
The high-resolution broadband sonar employs modern hydroacoustic transducers and advanced software. The use of frequency-modulated signals enables a high signal-to-noise ratio and depth resolution on the order of several centimeters, allowing effective detection and classification of mines even in environments with high acoustic noise levels. The system provides computer-aided detection and classification support, sonar image archiving and playback, a sonar performance calculator, and built-in self-diagnostics. It also enables precise compensation of vessel roll and pitch.
The modular design of the SHL-101/TM sonar allows for easy adaptation to various types of vessels, with operation performed from a single operator console and with the capability to integrate with the Combat Management System.
The product card contains key technical information and a functional description of the solution; available in both Polish and English versions.
