OBR CTM S.A. is developing competencies in Gdynia in the field of military electronics manufacturing, linked to the establishment of the Military Electronics Centre. The new infrastructure will support the implementation of key air defence programmes of the Polish Armed Forces, such as WISŁA, NAREW, and PILICA+.
The project is being developed in cooperation with the Polish Armaments Group, Military Electronic Works S.A., and RTX / Raytheon, who are jointly responsible for technology transfer and the preparation of manufacturing solutions for the CEM. As part of this cooperation, OBR CTM S.A. will manufacture advanced printed circuit assemblies (CCAs) for the LTAMDS radar — one of the most advanced air and missile defence sensors in the world.
The Military Electronics Centre is being established at OBR CTM S.A. as a specialised infrastructure dedicated to the manufacturing, testing, and repair of military electronics used in modern air defence systems. The MEC will play a key role in technology transfer within the WISŁA programme — including the implementation of production equipment, test stations, technological tools, and know-how transferred by domestic and international partners. The establishment of the Military Electronics Centre will increase the participation of the Polish industry in the air defence systems supply chain and enable the development of key technologies within the country.
The developed capabilities will support the following air defence systems:
OBR CTM S.A. is developing capabilities in the manufacturing and testing of advanced printed circuit assemblies for radars and air defence systems, carried out within the PGZ–WISŁA Consortium and in cooperation with RTX / Raytheon. This includes both the ongoing production of assemblies for the LTAMDS radar and the target support of the WISŁA, NAREW, and PILICA+ systems.
Manufacturing of printed circuit assemblies for the LTAMDS radar energy storage module, in cooperation with WZE and Raytheon.
Manufacturing of next-generation PCB assemblies for the WISŁA, NAREW, and PILICA+ air defence systems.
Testing and repair of printed circuit boards throughout the entire defence systems life cycle, in accordance with applicable requirements.
The development of competencies in military electronics manufacturing and the execution of tasks under the WISŁA programme are made possible through technological cooperation with partners.
