Critical Infrastructure Protection Systems

Maritime Critical Infrastructure Protection Systems integrate sensors for surface and underwater monitoring with effectors in order to provide a coherent, complete situation imaging of the protected basin with possibility of counteracting threats coming from the sea, air and land. Depending on the protected object (port, maritime base, anchorage, wind farm, terminal, platform, ship or vessel) and the characteristics of its environment, appropriate monitoring systems are selected and integrated to ensure the maximum level of protection. Dedicated radars, optoelectronic heads equipped with daylight and thermal cameras and anti-dron systems are used in the surface area. Underwater detection is based on sonars for divers detecting and magnetic barriers. Counteraction is based on non-lethal means – pneumatic, pyrotechnic and acoustic effectors and dazzling lasers.
