This page lists information about significant changes to the OBR CTM S.A. website — including improvements to layout, readability, ease of use, and digital accessibility. It does not cover every content update (e.g. new articles in the news section or job postings), but focuses mainly on enhancements to the site itself.

Changes
Shortened the page loading message — “Ładowanie…” in Polish, “Loading…” in English.
Refined how consortium and technology partner logos are presented on project pages — calmer layout, even spacing, centred last row, subtler leader label.
On the accredited laboratories and technical service support pages, call-to-action buttons at the top of the page stay on one line on mobile too.
Improved how photos are shown in press notes — carousel with a “Photo gallery” heading, photo count, and arrows from 4 images onward; clearer layout for single and paired photos on mobile; click-to-enlarge unchanged.
Introduced a Changelog with a link from the copyright line in the footer (company name); layout aligned with other information pages.
On the Contact page, added a FAX: label before fax numbers so they are easier to tell apart from phone numbers.
The changelog table shows the 5 most recent entries by default — older dates can be expanded with the button below the table.
Improved changelog table readability in high-contrast mode.
Added the changelog to the site map and the search engine sitemap (Polish and English versions).
Rebuilt bottom navigation between subpages in Careers and Company — a lower photo strip instead of large tiles; the same layout on all subpages in both sections.
Added dedicated illustrations for each destination in the Company mini navigation (including management, shareholders, procurement, and policies).
Improved title contrast on photos in the mini navigation and keyboard support — a clear focus indicator when using Tab.
Fixed the “Display settings” panel — after opening it, options (text size, contrast, animations, etc.) can be clicked normally again.
Updated the accessibility statement to reflect June 2026 accessibility work (including image descriptions, fragment languages, dialog boxes, product filters, PDF files, “Skip to content”, panel and menu); last site and statement update date: 4 June 2026.
Refined the statement introduction — shorter date labels, emphasis on WCAG 2.2 AA compliance, link to the company page, improved grammar in the site description.
Restructured the inaccessible content section — subsections with clear headings, each issue in its own paragraph; removed the incorrect entry treating animation disable as non-compliance; clarified contrast, maps, and PDF files.
Standardised statement formatting — emphasis in the preparation section (criteria, archived materials, 31 March review date), separate paragraph on June 2026 work.
Split “Accommodations and remediation plans” into two subsections; removed phone numbers — contact by email only; added links between the Polish and English statement versions.
Contact section — details in two side-by-side cards (as on the Contact page); simplified requests and complaints text (links to gov.pl and the Commissioner for Human Rights, complaints procedure as a subsection).
“Other information” in collapsible panels (like Careers FAQ), two columns on wide screens; clarified keyboard shortcuts, sign language interpreter, Gdynia and Gdańsk branches, and communication accessibility.
Adjusted statement appearance — smaller subheadings, better scaling when enlarging text in the accessibility panel; fixed column layout on laptops on other subpages too.
Added alternative text for partner and consortium logos and news photos (including older articles 2010–2026) — screen readers get meaningful descriptions instead of empty ones; projects and SCOT also in English.
Improved page headings — article or job posting title is the main heading; unified banner and breadcrumbs across the site.
Replaced vague “here” links in older articles with descriptive link text.
Marked foreign-language content fragments and language switch labels.
Added extended descriptions for PDF links.
Added “Skip to content” on all subpages.
Improved screen reader orientation: correct roles for header, menu, and footer; clearer footer logo description.
When scrolling with the keyboard, focus no longer hides under the sticky top menu.
Unified the “Back to top” button with the accessibility button — animation, mobile layout, no overlap.
Improved footer layout on phones — long service names in the Offer section break more cleanly; below about 430 px the footer switches to a single column.
Fixed the UTF-8 character encoding declaration on all pages — Polish characters display correctly.
Updated the Polish site map — including accessibility statement, FIK investment, full project list, news archive years.
Updated the English site map and search engine sitemap — new and changed page URLs.
Aligned the bottom stack of messages: cookie banner, language suggestion, and accessibility panel button appear in the same order without overlapping.
Improved the mobile menu — expand arrows on the right edge; the menu icon turns into a close (×) only when closing the whole menu, not when expanding submenus.
Added alternative text for footer logos (CTM, EMC Lab Net, PGZ) for screen readers.
Extended high-contrast mode across the whole site — navigation, footer, news, careers, products, cookie forms, banners, and remaining sections.
Improved text scaling on the Capital Investment Fund co-financed investment page — the illustration stacks below the text instead of breaking the layout.
Added a high-contrast option in the accessibility panel.
In the Company menu, added an item on the investment co-financed from the Capital Investment Fund, with a divider and correct line breaks for the long title.
Created the FIK investment page with text on the left and an information poster on the right.
Improved text scaling in news, press notes, and Careers sections.
Added an Accountant job posting with a dedicated page and listing entry.

Added a Quality Specialist (acting) job posting in Gdańsk — detail page and listing entry.
Updated the meta description (SEO), social link preview, and body text for the Regional Polish Defence Industry Forum 2026 article.
Fixed the Polish/English language switch and related cross-links between page versions.
Updated the Management Board section (including Dr Jacek Szczepaniak and Anna Salomon); improved spacing between sections on mobile and desktop.
Refreshed the public job listings — including new roles (Systems Analyst, Junior Product Owner) and closed recruitments.
Homepage tiles and “read more” buttons now respond to the Tab key the same way as on mouse hover — easier keyboard navigation.
Better keyboard support on the company page, board cards, shareholder notices, and careers section.
Added icon and favicon tags on all pages; clarified which icon files are used.
Subtler, consistent focus indicators for keyboard navigation — menu, footer, language switch, and legal links.
Expanded the favicon set and PWA metadata so the icon and “add to home screen” work on more devices.
Added a PWA manifest with icon caching — faster reopening from the phone home screen.
Shared header and footer loaded from a single source.
Moved shared layout fragments into a single module — less repeated HTML across hundreds of pages.
Mass fixes for broken links and typos in page URLs; corrected four incorrect filenames.
Standardised English content, contact details, social sharing metadata, lazy-loaded images, and mobile menu keyboard support.
Images below the first screen load on scroll (lazy loading) — less data transfer on first page visit.
Added SEO descriptions in news and on job posting pages.
Matched key pages for the language switch — home, company, contact, products, and projects.
The language switch is hidden where no counterpart exists — e.g. selected job postings and archive articles.
Removed distracting blue outlines from product and service cards and the Management section — calmer appearance without losing readability.
Reviewed and updated meta descriptions (SEO) on main pages; removed the outdated keywords tag, which search engines no longer use.
Introduced justified text alignment in informational content where it improves readability of longer paragraphs.
Removed redundant meta tags and duplicate head entries — smaller HTML document size.

Updated the CTM YouTube channel link in the site footer.
Extended the copyright year range in the footer to 2025–2026.
Unified the appearance of legal links in the footer — privacy policy, cookies, legal notice, and data protection.
Introduced a loading screen on first visit — a short message and animation before content appears.
Expanded the Career development section on the home page — a clearer invitation to job postings and a photograph of the CEO with M. Tyszecki.
Loading screen shown only on first visit in a session — subsequent pages open without extra waiting.
Launched the first cookie consent banner — accept, reject, and a link to the cookie policy.
The banner appears after the page loads and remembers the user’s choice for the current session.
Cookie banner script loaded asynchronously — does not block page content rendering.
Launched the recruitment module — public job listings with role cards, location, and a short description.
Introduced a New posting label on recent job advertisements.
Aligned job titles with current regulations.
Rebuilt the job posting template — consistent layout for description, requirements, and how to apply.
Extended the news archive with 2025 — including Digital Baltic, the CTM–Satim partnership, the ICEYE letter of intent, and the start of the Military Electronics Centre build.

Standardised hover animations and button styling across the site — consistent hover behaviour makes content easier to read alongside links.

Press notes now include photo galleries with zoom (lightbox) — easier browsing of event coverage.
Fixed broken product galleries — images keep their proportions and no longer break the page layout.
Added a Key events section on the home page — shortcuts to selected news items.
